Scrap Car Donation - Fire Brigade
We are desperately seeking vehicles on behalf of the fire brigade to help train new recruits. We receive numerous emails on a daily basis. However, it is extremely difficult for us to donate cars without the registered owners permission.
Your vehicle will be used in the training of new recruits for a maximum of two weeks at which point the vehicle will then be collected by us and then scrapped. We can then offer you a certificate of destruction.
Please be aware that since the scrappage scheme took a large chunk of vehicles, the fire service is barely receiving any donations.
It is important that you clarify on the form that you grant permission for your vehicle to be used to help train fire fighters.
Your vehicle does not have to be working, it just needs to have all four wheels to be able to maneuver.
