Lost Logbook

Statutory offroad notice It is extremely important that you notify the DVLA in writing that you have scrapped your vehicle.

Recently we have had an unusually large amount of requests for (CoD) destruction certificates and it has become obvious why this has happened.

When we take your vehicle to the depollution center we automatically inform the DVLA that your vehicle is sorn and ready to be de-registered. If you have not notified the DVLA in writing personally then it's possible they could take the decision to prosecute and fine you.

You are required by law to notify the DVLA that you have scrapped your vehicle, so please make sure you do this to avoid any unnecessary problems later.

Our 'car surrender' form that can be found by clicking the appropriate button at the top of this website is used solely for our benefit. It is our confirmation receipt that states you have granted permission for us to remove and dipose of your vehicle.
